Kick-off to my three day weekend...

Hello weekend & friends...
I couldn't be more happy to have an extra day for play this weekend.

I decided that today would be the perfect day for THRIFTING.

Started off my morning just perfectly with a HUGE hot cup of...
My Morning Mate w/ a touch of vanilla soy
So delicious... It's quickly replacing my Starbucks bad habit...
Yes,  I said it.  REPLACING my STARBUCKS!
I know all of you who know me,  know just how serious that is.

I some how managed to drag two friends through 4 thrift stores and a fabric shop today...
I am pretty sure they LOVED it.

Today was one of those days when I actually had nothing on my brain to hunt...
So I wasn't really planning on making any big purchases...
but then I found these...
Winter White Dress Coat $15, Coral and Gold Vintage Bangle $2, Searsucker Jacket $4

Stunning!
That was all just in one store!

After those purchases I decided that I would probably need to come home and rearrange my entire closet and that I should really lay off  buying clothes and coats. Especially since I have still not found a new home for the 8 new sweaters that I picked up last weekend thrifting with Mk. Yes 8, I know ridiculous but they were only 3 dollars a piece and I just couldn't resist.

So I went on to my next affinity... CATS
Found some pretty amazing kitty magnets, kitty coaster, and a stone kitty for my deck.  I am hoping that if I just keep filling the house with Cat stuff then maybe... Just maybe Rusty will let me get a REAL kitty.
I truly believe that he is worried that the CAT would get all of the attention if I had one.
(there may be some truth to that theory)

Okay, on to the next store where I picked up a few more little bowls, because I really needed them.
NOT EVEN... but they were super fun and I do love having little bowls while cooking.
Clearly I felt the kitchen needed a touch of blue

All and all I would say I had a wonderful thrifting day not to mention quality shopping time spent with two fun friends. Love you ladies <3

xoxo
