This is a blog about the happenings of all things "LOVE NEST"...
I'm Amanda Gail I live in small town North Carolina with my boyfriend Rusty in our apartment that we refer to as "The Love Nest". We have been together since the later half of 2007 and everyday it just gets better. I have always loved to write and share, I love everything DIY and I love to cook with butter. I believe in love and laughter and I think that they should go hand in hand. I am an only child and YES I am "Spoiled Rotten" by my parents, grandparents, and my boyfriend. Rusty swears that I have the OCS (only child syndrome) but I just personally don't see it (grin), as I grew up with more than a handful of cousins, some that might as well be considered siblings. If they come in your house (uninvited) eat from your refrigerator and steal clothes from your closet they are more than your average I see you twice a year distant cousin. I seem to have a creative mind that tends to wander from project to project... You can often find me in my living room floor with a glue gun and the buzzer going off in the kitchen (multi-tasking) or as Rusty would say "making a damn mess". I spend my Monday through Friday at the Desk of my "BIG GIRL" job as an administrative assistant to a fantastic group of people. I love to shop until I drop, my sewing machine is quickly becoming my new best friend and my oven is almost constantly being preheated to 350... If I am not shopping, making or baking I'm sick. I have lived in both small towns and in the big ol' city and there are life experiences from both that I wouldn't trade for the world. Right now my happy place is this love nest in this small town with this really incredible funny hunky guy and this is my blog...
