All girls need a little "Girl Time"

Last weekend was such a fantastic weekend...

I kicked it off by heading out in the rainy weather to meet three of my very BEST girlfriends!

We decided on dinner and a few drinks @ Pop's in downtown Durham.

Amaz.

I had so much fun catching up with these three beautiful ladies. I couldn't be more happy about our decision to make this happen at least once a month and a trip every year!!!!

I know that as always we have many laughs and good times ahead of us!

Also MOM was in town for the weekend.

We had the perfect weekend shopping and hanging out. It was much needed Mother/Daughter time.

Saturday we ventured to one of my all time favorite thrift stores...

and good thing we did b/c we both had some pretty amazing finds!!!

Next we went home picked up Rusty Lee and met some friends out for dinner, then came back to the house for a little Wii Party!!! So much fun!

Sunday and Monday Mom and I decided that we just hadn't gotten our fill of shopping so we went all over we hit the mall, target, and every fabric store I could think of.

I talked Mom into getting these Fabulous Sorel boots...

They didn't have my size :( BUMMER.

Guess I will just have to settle for my Target look-a-likes until I can order mine.

Not sure how much snow she will see down in Florida but I just love these.

 I enjoyed so much having her here with me to help brainstorm upcoming projects. If only we lived closer.

I picked up this lovely fabric for a project that I am working on for the summer...

Can't ever get started to early... Right?

With the cold and rainy weather all weekend it was nice to pick out something beautiful and fun for the warmer months of spring and summer.
